Twenty new recipes and four buildings
Twenty new Workshop recipes, a new find in every region, four homestead buildings opened by requests, and an eleventh Museum hall.
What changed
- Every region you explore has something new in it: a dyer’s root in the Old Forest, limestone in the Small Cave, a purple orchid in the Willow Marsh and golden sap at the Dawn Sanctuary. The Last Horizon has the Horizon Pearl.
- The Workshop has learned twenty recipes. Dyes from those plants paint the shields red, purple and blue; cave lime and Market iron make steel; a Moonwood writing set; pearl inlay for a chest and a necklace; a varnish for the last lantern. Each has somewhere to go: a request from the neighbor who wants it, and a case in the Museum.
- Four new buildings for your homestead, each opened by a request at the Tavern: Nell’s Fish Weir at Fishing 20, Mabel’s Apiary at Crafting 35, and Flint’s Brickworks and Copper Mine at Exploring 45 and 60. Flint can also open a quartz seam on your Quarry at Exploring 30, and Rowan can teach the Sawmill to cut moonwood at Exploring 75.
- The Apiary is built from Beehives you craft: place one on the stand and it gives Beeswax and Honey every morning. Wax draws into candles and a copper candelabra, or softens into polish. The Beehive recipe is heavier to match.
- A hen now lays an egg and drops a feather for every level of your bond with her, so a cuddle a day adds up.
- Nell has a Trawl Net for the far waters: twenty Fishing Nets and twenty Iron Rings, one cast, two hundred fish.
- Rowan’s Colours of the Valley, four requests for the painted shields, and new requests from Mabel, Iris and Nell for the rest. Each of your neighbors has one more favorite thing.
- The Museum’s Shield Wall takes the painted shields, the Artisans’ cases take the new pieces, the forest, cave and marsh halls each ask for their new find, and an eleventh hall, The Last Garden, collects the sanctuary and the Last Horizon.
- Thirty-one new paintings, one for every new item and building. Every item in the village now has its own picture.
