Clank and the Collector’s Cabinet

Clank joins the Workshop, the Museum gets a Collector’s Cabinet, and you can invite friends.

What changed
  • Rowan and Iris have been keeping a corner table at the Tavern. See their requests through and Clank joins the Workshop, crafting for you while you’re away, with recipe sets you can save and swap.
  • The Museum has a new wing, the Collector’s Cabinet: cases for the curios, trophy fish and founders’ marks you find. Fill them in any order. Each pays Crystals, and a case goes on show when you open its place.
  • Keep giving at the Community Center after a goal is met: every time the village gathers the whole goal again, everyone who helped gets the thank-you again, up to three in all.
  • Seventeen new village badges, for level 60 and 99 in every skill, friendship with your neighbors, the Museum, trophy fish and founders’ marks.
  • Invite a friend from the Friends page. When their village reaches total level 50, you both earn Crystals.
  • New villagers can start playing straight away from the front page and save their village to an account later.
  • A Fishing level-up sets the water boiling: for 15 seconds, fish come seven times as fast.
  • A Fishing Net now takes two Rope to weave, up from one.
  • Mail is simpler. Anyone can send anything mailable, the person receiving it needs the level, and the daily sending limit is gone. A new Mailable items tab in the Mailbox lists what can be sent. Golden crops can be mailed.
  • Gifts to neighbors are worth the same whatever the item sells for: the most for a favorite, less for something they like. Market goods can no longer be given, and crops are no longer on anyone’s liked list.
  • The Moonlit Elixir and Star Draught now count taps, draughts, catches and nets rather than single trips and fish. The Orchard Cordial and Ridge Infusion work for one minute, and the Farm counts it down.
  • A membership page, for anyone who wants to support the game.
  • On a wide screen the game sits in three columns, and pages slide more smoothly. Chat scrolls back through its last 50 messages.
  • Every Crystal upgrade asks before it spends. Tavern hand-ins show how many you really hold, and item pages give Quick Sell and Quick Craft a row each.
  • New paintings: an island for every place you can explore or fish, matching seed sacks, golden crops and the Crystal itself.
